Introducing our Civitas Program
We are excited to introduce the Civitas program for our 9th-12th grade students. Latin for the words "citizenship" and "community," Ordo Amoris Classical’s Civitas program transitions students in their learning from Ordo Amoris Classical instructors and in-house classes to an online high school experience for the rhetoric years (9th-12th). We recognize how critical these rhetoric years are to the development of virtue and preparation for a life of learning well. Accordingly, we are partnered with accredited affiliate programs to continue classical Christian education here at Ordo Amoris Classical. Whether on a diploma track or a la carte program, Civitas students will continue to attend Ordo Amoris Classical Mondays and Wednesdays to partake in morning devotions, lunch fellowship, assembly, field trips, and enrichment programs. They will receive the community and culture of a classical Christian environment on campus while attending classes online. Students will attend online courses led by world-class professional instructors who demonstrate a deep love for God, their students, and their subject. For the high school years, this program maintains the focus on academic excellence and individual class needs while maintaining community and relationships locally with peers and instructors.
